Peanut Butter Golden Milk

It is winter time and it is in full force. All we want after a hard, cold's day work is something to warm our little souls and to cuddle up in a blanket. We have the recipe for you!
We're sure you have all heard about this drink by now. You can get it at most coffee shops now-a-days. Golden Milk. For those who don't know, Golden Milk is basically a latte made with turmeric, and turmeric is amazing!
Turmeric is a root very closely related to ginger. It is a bright orange color and has a very strong flavor (a little goes a long way). India has been using turmeric in their curries for thousands of years. Turmeric is a great anti-inflammatory, helps with digestive issues, and has antioxidant properties.
But most of all, turmeric makes a great latte! Down below is a fantastic recipe for Golden Milk/Turmeric Latte. It is so flavorful, sweet, and surprisingly filling. And it's only 5 ingredients!
This recipe makes roughly 30 oz.

Peanut Butter Golden Milk (Turmeric Latte)
2 cups Water
1 cup Coconut Milk
⅓ cup Maple Syrup
2 tbsp Peanut Butter
1 tbsp Ground Turmeric
1. Pour the water and coconut milk into a saucepan over medium-high heat. Stir together with a whisk and bring the mixture to a slight boil.
2. Pour in the maple syrup, peanut butter, and turmeric and whisk continuously while on the heat (the peanut butter might burn at the bottom of the pan if you stop stirring).
3. Once the peanut butter has fully incorporated into the mixture, turn heat off and allow it to sit for 3-5 minutes.
4. Pour your golden milk into your favorite mug and enjoy!
